"Sibylline Singularity" was "sculpted" from paint that dripped from my larger fluid abstract "Singularity". The paint creates it's own designs in the flexible acrylic skins: intricate spirals and fractals mimicking the geometry of nature.
About Madeleine Arnett
My technique of pouring and mixing paint directly on a canvas is a way of connecting with the essence of fluidity. My work is part artistic vision and part serendipity, a fusion of forethought and randomness. I carefully capture any paint or resin which has overflowed and pooled beneath my boards and canvas and upcycle them into new 3D sculptural paintings.
