Bijou 10 found its inspiration and materials from my home studio debris. I carefully collect drips of paint from my Fluid Dynamic Abstracts. I sculpt the paint into 3D paintings. The process is part serendipity and part artistic vision and results in unique elegant artworks.
My technique of pouring and mixing paint directly on a canvas is a way of connecting with the essence of fluidity. My work is part artistic vision and part serendipity, a fusion of forethought and randomness. I carefully capture any paint or resin which has overflowed and pooled beneath my boards and canvas and upcycle them into new 3D sculptural paintings.
