Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. "Terrain Singularity" a fusion between painting and sculpture. I carefully capture the acrylic paint drips from my large Fluid Color Abstracts which I form into 3D sculptures. The process is part serendipity and part artistic vision and results in unique original works.
About Madeleine Arnett
My technique of pouring and mixing paint directly on a canvas is a way of connecting with the essence of fluidity. My work is part artistic vision and part serendipity, a fusion of forethought and randomness. I carefully capture any paint or resin which has overflowed and pooled beneath my boards and canvas and upcycle them into new 3D sculptural paintings.
