Lime Singularity 2 found its inspiration and materials from my home studio debris. I carefully collect drips of paint from my Fluid Dynamic Abstracts. I sculpt the paint into 3D paintings. The process is part serendipity and part artistic vision and results in unique elegant artworks.
About Madeleine Arnett
My technique of pouring and mixing paint directly on a canvas is a way of connecting with the essence of fluidity. My work is part artistic vision and part serendipity, a fusion of forethought and randomness. I carefully capture any paint or resin which has overflowed and pooled beneath my boards and canvas and upcycle them into new 3D sculptural paintings.
