This canvas started out as a paintings of a singer on stage with her neon pink guitar. The composition wasn't working so I used as an under-painting. Working quickly, I brushed on concentric circles of paint and tall water plants and so in a matter of minutes created Blue Ripple Pond. Painting with abandon gives the work an inherent energy.
