Artful Misdirection is part of my "Singularity Series"; I carefully capture the puddles and drips from my Fluid Color Abstracts and sculpt them into elemental forms which I mount and frame.
My technique of pouring and mixing paint directly on a canvas is a way of connecting with the essence of fluidity. My work is part artistic vision and part serendipity, a fusion of forethought and randomness. I carefully capture any paint or resin which has overflowed and pooled beneath my boards and canvas and upcycle them into new 3D sculptural paintings.
