Flight of Fancy is an abstract from my Fluid Color Abstract Series. Painting wet-on-wet enhances the energy and fluidity of the artwork.
My technique of pouring and mixing paint directly on a canvas is a way of connecting with the essence of fluidity. My work is part artistic vision and part serendipity, a fusion of forethought and randomness. I carefully capture any paint or resin which has overflowed and pooled beneath my boards and canvas and upcycle them into new 3D sculptural paintings.
